Mr Europa – Canada Calls for Saving and Sending Toronto CLVR Streetcars around the Globe

TORONTO – Dec. 29 2019 – The last day for the Canada Light Rail Vehicle famous Toronto’s streetcars for the last 40 years came on Sunday December 29, 2019 at 15:43 EST.
This has been so sad for some of the Operators – one of the last charter run was so emotional saying:” This is the last run, on Sunday rainy day. Tears are in the rain” .
The last official charter closing an era of short length streetcars of Toronto Transit Commission was from the loop on the North of Bathurst Street along Queen Street West and East to the Russell yard at Greenwood.
Earlier that night the last regular streetcar was running from the Bathurst Subway Station to Exhibition and to Greenwood ending an Era on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2:54 EST.
Stop Scrap CLVR and Save and Send
This is a Petition from Marek J.D. Goldyn – Mr Europa – Founder of The European Club of Canada to His Worship John Tory the Mayor of the City of Toronto and The Honourable Doug Ford – The Premier of Ontario and also to The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau + The Prime Minister of Canada to STOP the Scrapping process of streetcars Canadian made and design called Canada Light Rail Vehicle in service between 1979 + 2019.
Instead of destroying the remnants of the great railway tradition which spanned Our Country during the creation of Dominion – federation – Marek Goldyn wants to call a Campaign among Europeans in Canada to collect the funds to:
1/ Buy all the remaining streetcars at the price which is offered by scrap firm
2/ Send the historic streetcars to various Cities around the World – starting with one to the City of Lodz in Poland and the second to the City Warsaw which is a Twin City with Toronto.
This a great opportunity to Save Iconic Streetcars for the future and to make a Promotion of Our City of Toronto but also of The Province of Ontario and Canada in more than 20 countries around The World.
As one can count it could also a very effective advertising and showing our presence in the global trade and tourism.
