75 years after Warsaw Uprising echoed in Toronto

After lighting a candle in memory of the brave fallen soldiers from Polish Home Army who were killed during Warsaw Uprising while fighting for 63 days and also murdered children and women and civilians – over 200 thousand by the Hitler’s German occupying forces.

This is a tradition to participate in the events of historical importance by the Members of The EUROPEAN Club of Canada.

Mr Europa – Marek J.D.Goldyn – Founder of The European Club of Canada and Mr Andrzej Bursiak who was born in the Capital City of Poland after lighting a candle in memory of the brave fallen soldiers from Polish Home Army who were killed during Warsaw Uprising while fighting for 63 days and also murdered children and women and civilians – over 200 thousand by the Hitler’s German occupying forces.

This annual commemoration takes a place at the Katyn Monument at the foot of Roncesvalles Avenue – the most Polish recognised spot in Toronto, in Canada
