Polish community in Ontario is mourning after slain of a young officer

The deepest sorrow and cordial words of support to the Family of Grzegorz Pierzchala – a beloved Son of Tatry -the Polish Mountains was born in and to be buried Canada.

The condolences on behalf of the Polish Army Veterans’ Association in America – National HQ – New York, N.Y., USA Post 100 Toronto , ON , Canada – Marek J.D. Goldyn – Associate Member and from my Family and The European Club of Canada also Polonez News Canada.

Provincial Constable Pierzchala joined the OPP as a Special Constable with the Queen’s Park Detachment. On September 7, 2021, he was hired as a recruit and began his career as a Uniform member in Haldimand. He also had basic training as a Canadian Military Officer and held a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University.

The funeral of Grzegorz Pierzchala is expected to be held on Wednesday Jan. 4th 2023 in Barrie , Ontario.

Therefore I am extending an Official Invitation to the elected Officials especially of Polish heritage in Canada and Canadian Polish Police Officers.

Furthermore another round of invitation is send to the Ambassador of The Republic of Poland in Ottawa and Consul General of The Republic of Poland in Toronto to attend the funeral ceremony.

A special invitation is directed to the Polish American Police Association in Chicago, Ill. and New York, N.Y.

If there is enough persons willing to attend the funeral by bus from Toronto to Barrie please contact an undersigned.
