TORONTO – Polish Pączki -{pon tchkee} Day -hand made donuts filled with various types of jam – a tradition called Fat Thursday to observe the last week before the Lent of 40 days from Poland is well kept in Canada and U.S.A.

There are a few Polish bakeries in Toronto and Mississauga including Benna’s Bakery and Deli – Roncesvalles Avenue are making quite a few thousands goodies working overnight to bring the fresh in the morning.

However the leader in making Pączki – promounced {pont chkee} is a Polish-Canadian bakery Sweet Temptations located in Mississauga – a city nest to Toronto with the highest population of Polish and Europeans in Southern Ontario.
